Known Superhuman Powers: Viktr's species are all (with a few exceptions) naturally able to fly thanks to their wings.

- His lungs allow him to draw oxygen even at high altitudes.
- His thick feathery hide protects him from cold and wind.
- He has an uncanny ability to maneuver and orientate himself in the air.
- His body structure is both tough and light, which gives him strength, stamina, durability and speed in the air.
- He's somewhat able to communicate with birds due to the similarities with his native tongue, but it's more akin to a human teaching a dog tricks than full communication.

Weaknesses: His strength is naturally centered around his upper body. His kicks are considerably weaker than his punches.

His natural element is air. On the ground, while still a warrior, he's considerably slower. He's able to stay afloat in water, but can't swim that fast. In short, he's king in the air, but not quite as efficient on the ground.

Abilities/Special Skills: Highly tactical mindset and trained in hand-to-hand combat.

Languages: Eagle speaks English fluently with a slightly chirpy accent. His own native tongue sounds more like birdsong than anything else.

Weapons/Equipment: His wings are strong enough to swat grown men aside easily. He does have a nack for grabbing any club at hand to even the odds.

Personality: Something of a loner, but puts that aside when the situation calls for it.

Personal Interests: Loves to explore new territories.

History: Viktr is from another planet, where the dominant species are humanoids with bird characteristics. Viktr was assigned to keep watch over his sister and flee from an intergalactic warlord under direct order from his commander. (More on that in another entry...)

The siblings ended up on Earth with other refugees from the war and remained hidden for a while, but were eventually forced to reveal themselves to aid the native populace. He and his sister were named Eagle and Harpy by the newspapers, and they came to enjoy life on Earth.

Eagle first joined the hero scene in January 1940. He became one of the founding members of the Victory Society and remained until the group disbanded in 1951.

Harpy would eventually return to her people when the warlord had been defeated. Thanks to the efforts of Starson (another alien immigrant) Viktr was granted the right to emigrate to the United States permanently. Ever since then, he's built a legacy here on Earth.

Viktr retired from superheroics in 1989.

Eagle (and other inheritors to the title) went missing in 2008.

Another Golden Age homage. The obvious inspiration for this one would be DC's Hawkman (without the increasingly convoluted continuity issues), but there's also a few elements from the birdmen of Flash Gordon lore put in the mix here. I haven't quite nailed down his backstory yet, so consider all of it preliminary at best.
