Nice to have some info - has he lost the 'animal empathy' powers that he had in the first AFL?
Some interesting story hooks too - the idea of Virtus saving people from Death Row but keeping a secret jail of his own for murderers is a very interesting - and quite scary concept - hope you explore that some day.
Not really... I kind off forgot that one... It's more of a blood link... But I'll just bore you.
He just prefers life sentence to an isolation cell before an execution, because he feels that such governments misuse their power. And yes, I'll probably elaborate on that in a future story.

Well, Virtus made friends with a group of animal/human hybrids, and due to curiosity winning out over his short term memory, he was able to retain all knowledge of the animal kingdom's different dialects. That, and some off the normal animals develop new personalities in contact with Virtus blood...
That's basically what you got here... I can tell you that Vigil will have to throw a lot of rocks, or simply beckon him to a showdown in their minds... Which I wouldn't recommend, given Virtus latent mental strenght...
A thing I forgot to mention is, while he may be able to simply get knocked out rather than killed from a punch by... shall we say Thing of the FF? ... He is not invulnerable. Small projectiles that puts more strain on a smaller area can puncture his skin, such as sabers, bullets, knives etc.
And the healing.. Only works for things that heal by themselves in normal humans. For example, if he was stricken by a deadly disease, he would probably last even less time than a normal human, unless he gets an antidote.
You could try the same thing you did with Thugmar... Even though Virtus can travel in time/space on his own power... He would still have to reconsider using tachyon speed and having the entire Earth implode... That, and he has to have something with him from a certain point in time to reach it, or he could end up anywhere from Hiroshima to the Big Bang.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
